Eastern Pulaski school board to hold public hearing on proposed superintendent contract

The Eastern Pulaski County School Corporation Board of School Trustees will hold a public hearing Monday, July 27th, in regards to a proposed employment contract for the corporation’s superintendent.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm Eastern Time in the Meeting Conference Center at Winamac Community High School. During the hearing, the board will review details of the proposed superintendent contract and compensation summary before accepting public comments.

Immediately following the public hearing, the board will convene a special meeting.

During the special meeting, board members are scheduled to consider approval of the proposed superintendent contract. They will also consider an agreement with Administrator Assistance to provide the incoming superintendent with a mentor one day per month for as long as needed.

The board is also expected to consider personnel items as part of its consent agenda.

Both the public hearing and special meeting are open to the public.
