The La Porte County Health Department has announced multiple dates for free CPR classes this month.
The classes, which are open to the community, are a great opportunity to learn or refresh knowledge in skills that can save lives. These hands-on sessions are free, though registration is still required as space is limited. The classes are offered at a variety of times throughout the day to accommodate as many schedules as possible.
The La Porte Fire Station #1 will be hosting free CPR classes on the following dates/times, with all times as Central:
- July 11th, 8a – 12p
- July 11th, 12p – 4p
- July 22nd, 1p – 5p
- July 22nd, 5p – 8p
Additionally, there will be a free community CPR class taking place at Bluhm County Park in Westville, on Friday, July 24th from 10am to 2pm Central Time.
