The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has launched a rewards program that allows visitors to earn points for participating in outdoor recreation activities at DNR-managed locations across the state.
The Indiana DNR Rewards program is available through the Indiana DNR mobile app and offers participants the opportunity to accumulate points by checking in at participating locations and activities.
According to the DNR, visitors can earn points for over 200 activities, including overnight stays at Indiana State Park Inns; camping; visiting state parks, state forests, nature preserves, fish and wildlife areas, shooting ranges; and renting watercraft.
Once participants earn 10,000 points, they can redeem them for either a $25 Indiana State Park Inns gift card or a $25 camping gift card.
The DNR said check-ins reset every 24 hours, allowing participants to earn points each time they visit an eligible property or for each night spent camping.
To participate, users must download the Indiana DNR app and register for the Indiana DNR Rewards pass within the app.
