Lilly Endowment seeking information from Indiana nonprofit organizations

Indiana nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to people facing hardship are being invited to share information with Lilly Endowment through a statewide Request for Information.

The Starke County Community Foundation is encouraging area nonprofits to consider participating in this voluntary effort, which is intended to help Lilly Endowment gain a better understanding of the range of service organizations operating throughout Indiana. The information collected may help inform the Endowment’s future grantmaking decisions.

This Request for Information is geared toward Indiana nonprofit organizations whose primary mission is providing direct services to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Examples of qualifying services include food assistance, housing, healthcare, behavioral health, employment assistance, transportation, family support, financial stability programs, and other similar human services.

The Community Foundation emphasized that submitting information is not the same as applying for a grant and does not guarantee future funding. Organizations are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and determine whether the opportunity is a good fit for their mission before participating.

Responses will be accepted through July 31, 2026. More information, including the full Request for Information and eligibility details, is available on the Lilly Endowment website, which can be found here: https://lillyendowment.org/request-for-information-from-indiana-human-service-organizations/
