Metamonong DAR Chapter news including presentation of Good Citizenship Awards

The Metamonong DAR Chapter was honored to present outstanding seniors in Pulaski County High Schools with the DAR Good Citizenship Award.

The recipients in 2026 are:  Brooke Rausch from Winamac High School, Maisie Toosley from West Central High School,  and Sydney Wellon from West Central HIgh School (not pictured).

Metamonong DAR Members before the Tea Party Audrey Kroft, Sara Kroft, Mashell Roudebush and Charlotte Rymph.   

A Girls of America 250 Tea Party was hosted by the Metamonong DAR Chapter.  The girls who attended brought their favorite dolls.  Everyone enjoyed a tea party, crafts, story time, door prizes, a special prize for the best patriotic dressed girl and doll and received a US Flag.

The Metamonog DAR members handed out US Flags along the Pulaski County 4-H Parade route. 

The Pulaski County Library in Winamac, has set up a display for America 250 that recognizes the Metamonong DAR Members and their Patriot’s Names. 

The Metamonong DAR Chapter welcomed five members at their last meeting, pictured on the right.
