The Oregon-Davis School Board will be holding a regular meeting this evening, Wednesday, July 15th. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6pm Central Time and will be held at the Oregon-Davis Elementary School, located at 5860 North, 750 East in Hamlet. The meeting will also be available via Zoom.
Items on the agenda include multiple personnel recommendations; including the hiring of a full-time bus driver, a substitute bus driver, multiple teachers, a kitchen manager and food service cashier, a special education bus aide, and a coach for varsity girl’s basketball. Multiple resignations will also be discussed.
Other items on the agenda include the consideration of a resolution that would allocate the effects of the Supplemental Homestead Credit, the approval of food service bids for the upcoming school year, and the approval of two Board Policies.
The board will also hold a first reading of numerous policy revisions during this meeting.
During the consent agenda portion of the meeting, the board will consider the approval of financial reports, minutes from its June 10th and June 16th meetings, and several fundraiser requests including T-shirt sales, an athletic department golf outing, FFA sales during the Yellowstone Trail Festival, and a basketball camp for students in first through eighth grades.
Following reports from the Superintendent and building principals, and any comments from the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
