Starke County Community Services is seeking volunteers to sponsor upcoming community lunches.
The organization made the announcement on Tuesday morning, at which time it had openings for lunch sponsors on August 19th, August 26th, and September 2nd.
Officials say sponsors may choose any menu, including items such as tacos or other meals.
Each luncheon serves approximately 60 people. Starke County Community Services provides the utensils, plates, cups, coffee and flavored water for each event.
The community lunch program began about a year ago and has relied on the support of local sponsors to provide meals throughout the year.
