This week, the Starke County Coroner’s Office shared its statistics from the month of June 2026.
During the month of June, the Coroner’s Office responded to a total of two calls. One death was ruled to be natural causes, and one was still pending at the time the statistics were released.
This year to date, the Starke County Coroner’s Office reports a total of 39 calls. 33 of those cases were ruled as natural causes; 2 were drug overdoses. One was an accident or other, and one was a motor vehicle accident.
Other possible listed causes of death include suicide, homicide, and undetermined.
