The Starke County Council will be holding a budget workshop next week.
The workshop was originally scheduled for August 11th, but has since been re-scheduled for Tuesday, July 28th. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9am Central Time at the Annex 1 Meeting Room, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
The meeting will break for lunch around noon, and is expected to run until approximately 2pm. Council will hear budget requests from various county departments, including but not limited to the Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management, the Planning Commission, Highway Department, Health Department, and Park Board.
This meeting is open to the public.
