
The Starke County Council has announced it will be holding a regular Council meeting this upcoming Monday, July 20th.
The meeting is scheduled to be held in the Annex 1 Meeting Room, at 53 East Mound Street in Knox, and will begin at 4:30pm Central Time.
The meeting will open with two public hearings; the first for violation of compliance for abatements, and the second for additional appropriation ordinance #18 of 2026.
Following both public hearings, council will have a discussion with representatives from Surf Internet in regards to a tax abatement.
The Council will also consider its meeting minutes from June 15th, will set a budget workshop date with department heads, and set dates for a budget hearing and adoption, announced with the tentative dates of August 17th and September 21st respectively.
After any other business that may come before the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
