Today is the day that Union Pacific’s Big Boy Number 4014 Steam Engine, the largest operating steam locomotive in the world, will be making a stop in Knox.
There has been an update to the schedule for the train; originally it was scheduled to stop in Knox around 12:30.
Union Pacific’s scheduling page for Big Boy Number 4014 shares that the train will now stop a half hour later than originally announced, meaning it is expected to come into town around 1pm Central Time.
Festivities will still be taking place including food trucks and local vendors, beginning at 10am Central Time.
