Vaccination clinics offered at schools across Starke County

The Starke County Health Department is encouraging families to take advantage of three upcoming on-site vaccination clinics that will be offered at public schools across the county ahead of the 2026-2027 school year.

The clinics are being hosted in partnership with the Indiana Department of Health and will be open to individuals ages 3 and older. Walk-ins will be accepted at each location, although advance registration is also available.

The first clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, from noon to 6pm Central Time at Knox Elementary School, located at 210 West Culver Road in Knox.

The second clinic will take place Wednesday, July 22, from noon to 6pm Central Time at North Judson-San Pierre Middle School, located at 950 Campbell Drive in North Judson.

The final clinic is set for Thursday, July 23, from noon to 6pm Central Time at Oregon-Davis Elementary School, located at 5860 North 750 East in Hamlet.

Those planning to receive vaccinations are asked to bring their immunization records. Individuals with insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare, should also bring their insurance information. According to the clinic information, uninsured and underinsured individuals will not be charged for vaccinations.

The Indiana Department of Health notes that the shingles vaccine will only be available for individuals with insurance.

Residents may register online before attending one of the clinics or receive vaccinations as walk-ins on the day of the event.
