A free workshop for those interested in starting a business or franchise will be offered in Knox this Thursday, August 27.
The Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center and Starke County Economic Development Foundation will host the Business Start-Up or Franchise workshop from 3:30 to 5pm Central Time at the Starke County Economic Development Foundation office, located at 15 South Main Street in Knox.
The workshop is designed to help prospective entrepreneurs explore their business goals, develop a business plan, learn about available options and explore funding and growth.
Information will also be available about free one-on-one business advising, market research and financial guidance for entrepreneurs.
The workshop is free to attend, but pre-registration is required.
