The Knox Redevelopment Commission held a regular meeting last week, during which they discussed multiple topics.
One of the items the board discussed and voted on was a bid award.
Board members reviewed and discussed proposals for two lots on Shield Street. It was stated that two quotes were received for the project.
Since both bids were slightly over the $15,000 the city had been authorized to spend, the bids needed to come back to the Redevelopment Commission for deliberation.
Ultimately, after further discussion and a vote, the bid was awarded to Campagna & Son Excavating for the amount of $16,000.
