The Knox Redevelopment Commission discussed updates on the City’s property at 18 South Main Street at its special meeting held last week.
An update provided by Knox Mayor Dennis Estok shared that an architect division of Architect Engineering Company has been contacted. They will send representatives to the area and have been asked to provide a basic, preliminary visual of the property plans.
Discussion was also held in regards to additional parking in the area. It has been estimated that around 20 additional parking spots may be added to the area.
The possibility of a mural being commissioned for the side of Birdie’s Cafe was also discussed by commissioners.
While updates were provided, no official action on 18 South Main Street was taken during this meeting.
