A press release from the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office shares that detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Indiana DNR’s Law Enforcement Division, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two adults found on a parcel of property located in the 11000 west block of CR 1500 South.
Afternoon Shift Patrol Deputies responded to the property Saturday night after the male and female were discovered deceased.
The decedents have been identified as 60-year-olds Patricia J. Rosenbaum and Todd A. Rosenbaum, both of Wanatah.
The preliminary stages of the investigation indicate this was an isolated incident. There is no immediate threat to the public, and investigators do not believe there is any ongoing danger to the surrounding community.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available for release at this time.
