Location change for Starke County Mobile Food Distribution this Friday

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has announced a location change for its Mobile Food Distribution in Starke County this month.

The mobile food distribution, which will take place this upcoming Friday, August 14th, will be held at the Knox United Methodist Church, located at 201 South Shield Street in Knox.

This distribution is scheduled to take place from 10am – noon Central Time, or until supplies last.

The distribution is provided by the USDA and is intended to serve 150 households.

These mobile food distributions offer assorted food items free of charge for households in need of food assistance. The items are pre-boxed and pre-bagged and get distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

These distributions are drive-through, so attendees should remain in their vehicles and open their trunks to receive items. There will also be a self-loading area available for those whose trunks do not open.
