The Starke County Commissioners will put a county bucket truck back up for auction after a previous bid failed to meet the county’s reserve price.
During a special session last week, commissioners were told the truck received a bid of $4,800. The county had placed a $5,000 reserve on the vehicle, leaving the bid $200 short of the minimum amount the county was seeking.
Commissioners briefly discussed putting the bucket truck up for auction again before voting to re-list the vehicle. The vote passed unanimously.
