The Starke County Convention and Visitors Commission is building a map of public art displays around Starke County.

The map showcasing art throughout the county will be available online at visitstarkecounty.com/art. At the time of this article, the website showcases one piece of wart; The “Energy Flows in Trails and Rails” sculpture, by Angelique Milo, which was installed at Norwayne Field in North Judson earlier this year.

The listing features the information the Commission hopes to gather about each piece: its artist, location, unveiling date, and background information about how the art piece came to be.

The Visitors Commission is reaching out to community members, asking for help identifying and gathering information about some of these pieces. The community is encouraged to leave a comment on the post by the Visitors Commission or send a message through Facebook.
