Starke County Council to hold 2027 budget public hearing Monday

The Starke County Council will meet Monday, August 17th, at 4:30pm Central Time in the Annex 1 Meeting Room, which is located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing on the county’s 2027 budgets.

Following the public hearing, the council is scheduled to hear from the County Surveyor regarding surveyor compensation.

Next, the county recorder will request an increase to petty cash and discuss a sworn statement and ordinance concerning the Recorder’s Perpetual Fund.

Council members are also expected to consider minutes from their July 20th and July 28th meetings.

After any other business that may come before the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
