The Starke County Public Library is holding its 4th annual Beyond the Book Festival this Saturday.
The one-day event will take place Saturday, September 12th from 9am to 3pm Central Time at the Schricker Public Library in Knox.
The festival will feature more than 40 authors with their books available for purchase, including many local authors.
Attendees can play Author Bingo by collecting author signatures on a bingo card to turn in for a chance at a prize, and can attend a free writer’s workshop taking place from 10am to noon.
Magician Kevin Wilson will be performing at the event at 1pm Central Time.
There will be multiple storytime events happening throughout the day, beginning at 9:30am and running every half hour through 12:30. There will also be a storytime with Clifford the Big Red Dog with special guest Miss Jenny, at 2pm. The first 100 kids at the Clifford storytime will receive a free Clifford gift bag.
The community is invited to attend this celebration of area authors at the Schricker branch of the Starke County Public Library, located at 152 West Culver Road in Knox.
