Knox will hold a Meet the Candidates Night in mid-October, before the November midterm election.
The event is sponsored by The Starke County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Knox, The Leader, and WKVI.
An announcement shared by the Chamber of Commerce states that this Meet the Candidates Night is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center, which is located at 55 East Lake Street in Knox. Doors will open at 5pm Central Time, with the program beginning at 6pm.
The event will give community members an opportunity to hear directly from candidates and learn more about their positions on issues affecting the area.
Members of the public can also submit questions for the candidates ahead of the event. Questions should be emailed to candidatequestions1@gmail.com or dropped off at the WKVI offices, located at 400 West Culver Road in Knox.
Questions will be accepted until 3pm Central Time on October 13th.
