Winamac’s Clerk-Treasurer has announced that county officials will hold a work session next week to discuss recent changes to Indiana’s Local Income Tax and the formation of a Municipal Unit Strategic Taskforce, or MUST.
The work session will include an overview of the new Local Income Tax legislation and an explanation of the purpose and requirements of the MUST process.
Officials will also discuss the potential impact on local government funding and services in Pulaski County. Representatives from the county, municipalities and other local governmental units are expected to attend.
The work session will be held Tuesday, September 22nd at 5:30pm Eastern Time, and will take place in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the second floor of the Pulaski County Courthouse at 112 East Main Street in Winamac.
The public is invited to attend this work session.
