Starke County, Indiana — A press release from the Starke County Clerk’s Office reminds voters that absentee voting is available for the upcoming election.
Voters who qualify to vote by absentee ballot may request an application and submit it to the Starke County Clerk’s Office. Once an application has been approved, the voter will receive instruction regarding how to complete and return their ballot.
Voters are encouraged to submit their absentee ballot applications as early as possible to allow adequate time for processing, delivery, and the return of the completed ballot.
Important Dates:
Absentee ballot applications available: NOW
Deadline to request an absentee ballot: October 22nd, 2026
Absentee in person voting begins October 6th at the Starke County Courthouse.
Last day to vote absentee in person: November 2nd at 12 noon Central Time.
Deadline for absentee ballots to be received by the Clerk’s Office November 3rd.
