
The Starke County Council meeting that was originally scheduled to be held yesterday, September 16th, has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Friday September 18th due to a lack of quorum.
The meeting has been scheduled for 5:30pm Central Time at the Annex 1 Meeting Room, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
According to the agenda, the council is expected to consider final adoption of the 2027 county budgets, the North Judson San-Pierre School budget, the Airport budget, and the Solid Waste budget.
Council members will also consider an additional appropriation ordinance and a transfer ordinance.
Council members will discuss multiple items with the Highway Department, including a quote for a culvert and bids for salt.
A representative from California Township will discuss the township’s Capital Improvement Plan with council members.
Following a vote on the approval of the meeting minutes from August 17th and any other business that may come before the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
