According to information from the Starke County Auditor, the Starke County Council will meet Monday, October 19th, with adoption of the county’s 2027 budget among the items on the agenda.
The council is scheduled to consider the 2027 county budget adoption at 4:30pm Central Time, as well as budgets for NJSP Schools, the Airport, and Solid Waste.
Also on the agenda, Highway Superintendent Rachel Kinney will discuss a quote for a culvert, salt bids, a blower for the brush chopper, and a timber bridge contract. The council will also consider minutes from its September 18th meeting, and any other business that may come before them.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm Central Time and will be held at the Annex 1 Meeting Room, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
