The Starke County Sheriff’s Office recently hosted a Women’s Basic Handgun Safety Course.
The course took place on Saturday, September 19th.
Details from the course shared online state that participants spent the morning in the training room, where they learned about handling firearms safely, best practices for storing firearms, and other basic fundamentals.
After lunch, participants visited the gun range for a hands-on, live-fire training session.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked those who participated in the course, along with Deputies Jovanovich, Leonhardt, and McDaniel for assisting at the range.
The Sheriff’s Office held a previous Women’s Basic Handgun Safety Course in May of last year.
