Indiana is still cleaning up after severe storms and flooding swept across the state in August.
Gov. Mike Braun says FEMA has provided about $100 million to storm victims, while the state and the National Flood Insurance Program have provided additional aid.
The state has removed about 80,000 cubic yards of storm debris, but officials estimate another 190,000 cubic yards still need to be cleared.
Braun created a task force to coordinate the cleanup. The state is using drones and artificial intelligence to identify debris and determine where cleanup is needed.
The task force is working in several communities and plans to expand into other areas, including parts of western and central Indiana.
Officials also plan to address debris in waterways, but that work requires additional federal approval.
