During the month of August, the Winamac Volunteer Fire Department responded to one golf cart accident, one ATV accident, and one automated alarm.
There was 1 trash fire, 1 smoke scare in a residence, and 1 instance of weather spotters being activated.
The department responded to 1 call to assist store employees and 1 animal rescue.
There was 1 county exercise during August and 2 department meetings.
