Community Services of Starke County has installed a new digital sign to help keep residents informed about upcoming activities, programs, and hours of operation.
The sign was made possible through a grant from the Starke County Community Foundation, along with support from the Resource Center and anonymous donors.
The organization also announced several activities at its Knox Activity Center, located at 311 East Culver Road.
Residents are invited to visit the center every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 2pm Central Time for socializing and activities.
An upcoming bingo event is scheduled for Monday, October 26th, beginning at noon.
Community Services of Starke County also hosts community luncheons every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm Central Time, with meals served while supplies last.
Anyone interested in volunteering to serve a community luncheon is encouraged to call 574-772-7070.
The organization also thanked residents who participated in a recent card-making activity and those who attended a blood pressure screening on October 16th.
Additional upcoming activities and programs will be shared through the organization’s new digital sign.
