According to information released from the Indiana Department of Transportation, starting on or after today, Thursday, October 22nd, US Highway 35 / Indiana Avenue will be closed between Osborn Street and Warwick Street in La Porte County.
This closure will be ongoing through the end of the year.
Closures on Highway 35 will continue through Spring 2027 as crews work to connect with the finished portion between State Road 2 / Lincolnway and Maple Avenue.
Suggested detour route includes State Road 2, State Road 39, and US Highway 6.
