The Pulaski County Municipal Unit Strategic Taskforce, or MUST, will meet Tuesday, October 13th to discuss local income tax provisions and a possible tax distribution agreement.
The Pulaski County Council is convening the taskforce to review the county’s local income tax provisions and determine whether members can reach a unanimous agreement concerning the distribution of local income tax revenue and the county’s maximum local income tax rates.
According to the meeting notice, state law allows the taskforce to seek a unanimous agreement, but no agreement is required. The meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for discussion and consideration of the issues.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th at 9:30am Eastern Time in Room 201 of the Pulaski County Courthouse, located at 112 East Main Street in Winamac.
The public is invited to attend this meeting.
