Starke County Sheriff’s Office compiling call list for deer processing

The Starke County Sheriff’s Office recently announced it is putting together a call list of individuals interested in processing deer that deputies or Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) personnel may come across.

Residents interested in being contacted when a deer becomes available are encouraged to complete an online survey.

The survey requests basic contact information and asks participants to identify the areas they would be willing to travel to.

Dispatch personnel will use the list to contact interested individuals as opportunities arise.

Officials emphasize that completing the survey does not guarantee a deer will become available, but will help connect the department with those interested in processing one.

Those interested can complete the survey online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScuqznQkUV-HxECo62kdACEjvlNH4vtvy5z2e_BwlILrkueMg/viewform.
