The Starke County Surveyor’s Office is inviting residents to capture the sights of fall during a photo contest throughout October.
The contest was announced on social media Wednesday evening, and participants can enter by posting a fall-themed photo taken in Starke County in the comment section of that original contest post on the Starke County Surveyor’s Office Facebook page.
Residents are encouraged to have friends and family vote for their favorite entries by liking or loving the photos.
The photo receiving the most combined likes and loves as of October 31st will be featured as the Starke County Surveyor’s Office Facebook cover photo throughout the month of November.
Entries can be submitted throughout the month of October.
The Surveyor’s Office has held several previous photo contests featuring Starke County, including a winter photo contest earlier this year and a historical-themed contest in the spring. The office also partnered with the Starke County Parks Department for an Eco-Influencer Photo Contest in July 2025.
