PPP Recipients Now Eligible for Indiana Small Business Restart Grants

More businesses can now qualify for COVID-19 relief through Indiana’s Small Business Restart Grant program. It’s being expanded to businesses that also got federal funding through the Paycheck Protection Program.

Knox Board of Works to Consider Additional Penalties on 6 North Pearl Street

The Knox Board of Works will consider additional penalties against the owner of 6 North Pearl Street today. The board had called for the home’s demolition back in 2016 but later agreed to give the owner a chance to fix the issues. Board members will also get updates on 253 East Washington Street, 8 South Main Street, and 204 West Bender Street.

Pulaski County Council Members Recommend Fee Increases to Fill $75,000 Budget Gap

Pulaski County Council members are looking to fee increases as a way to fill the $75,000 gap that remains in the 2021 budget proposal. A suggestion that county officials could reevaluate the Recycling and Transfer Station’s operations got the support of Council Vice-President Rudy DeSabatine during Monday’s budget discussions.
