Barbara LaVonne “Barb” Skiles, 84, of Walkerton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Walkerton following an illness.
She was born on March 25, 1941, in Chicago to the late Lloyd and Elmee (Johnson) Cable.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband LeRoy, and one brother, Leslie Cable.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Walkerton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barb’s memory to Pet Refuge.
