Clifford A. Shelhart Jr., age 37, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Cliff was born December 10, 1984 in El Paso, Texas to Clifford Shelhart Sr and Arcelia Martinez Shelhart. He has worked for the past 18 years out of Operating Engineers Local 150 as a heavy equipment operator, including his four year apprenticeship with the union. He loved hunting and fishing and was very talented working with his hands and loved making things for his family and friends. Most of all he was a great father and husband and a true friend to all that were close to him.
He is survived by his parents, Cliff and Arcelia Shelhart of Knox, his wife, Bethany Hardel Shelhart of Knox, his children, Adrianna, Jalen, Owen and Dakota Shelhart, all of Knox, and his brother, Brandon Shelhart of Knox, and Becca Hardel, who he liked to refer to as his “sister”.
His funeral service will take place on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:00pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery.
