David “Dave” Michael Sutton, 53, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. He was born on July 4, 1970 in Valparaiso, IN to Robert F. and Suzanne M. (Simmons) Sutton.
He graduated from Knox High School and made his career in woodworking for many years. Dave enjoyed his work, from owning a lumber company to fabrication and carpentry, he did it all. He took pride in making old things new again. Making people laugh was his greatest talent. He loved to fish, restore things, and above all, spend time with his family and friends.
On October 23, 2010 in New Hope, PA, David married the love of his life, Erica Nemeth-Sutton, who survives, along with children: Megan Justine Sutton, Jared Michael Sutton, and Grace Elizabeth Sutton; sister, Melissa (Curtis) McIntire; nephew, Aiden McIntire; niece, Addison McIntire; and was a father-figure for Jacob Schrock. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Suzanne.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM with a service beginning at 3:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, Indiana. A private burial will take place at Angelcrest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to AA.
