David E. White, age 70, of Knox, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024. David was born July 27, 1954 in Knox, to Vernon “Duner” White and Betty Goble White, both of whom have preceded him in death.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, especially deer and squirrels. He also loved riding his motorcycle and had been a member of the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. His other hobbies included flying remote-control planes, woodworking and quilting. He was an avid member of the New Hope Baptist Church, some of the earliest services had been held in his pole barn while they were searching for a new church building.
He is survived by his wife, Regina (Poulson) White of Knox, his children, Katie Frankenberger (Eric) of Elkhart and Keith White (Amie) of Knox, a brother, John White of Knox, a sister, Dawn Armentrout (David) of Walkerton, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 7pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
