Denise L. Peterson, age 66, of Knox, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024. Denise was born July 29, 1957 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Edward W. Sidabras and Lenore Sidabras.
She loved to be doing things outside, especially gardening and yardwork. She love to cook, crochet and shop re-sale and antique shops and yard sales. She had also been a 4-H Leader in the Rabbit Club.
On September 16, 1978 she married Scott Peterson, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Erik S. Peterson of Knox and Sandra N. Peterson of Sharpsville, Indiana, a brother, Douglas Sidabras of Illinois, and two grandchildren, Ryker Peterson and Taylor Strong.
A Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 7 p.m. (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.
