Dorothy L. Braun, 82, of Merrillville, IN (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis, IN with her loving daughter, Theresa, by her side.
She was born on November 8, 1943 in Winamac to Clement A. and Bernice B. (Kuhn) Braun. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents as well as five siblings, Betty Wallace, Rosemary Cottrell, Patricia Braun, Jerry Braun, and Terry Braun.
Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
Visitation will be from 3-7 PM EDT Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
Memorial Services will be held at 7 PM EDT Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Rev. Dennis Faker officiating.
Private Burial will take place at Reed Cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Pulaski County Human Serviecs Food Pantry.
