Born in Frenchberg, Ky to parents Willie and Julia Mae (Bailey) Agee
Eardon was the oldest of 10 children. He left school early to help his
family.
On July 5th 1952 he married the love of his life Eleanor Louise
(Walters) in Knox, IN at a movie theater. They had three children.
In 1948 Eardon began working as a welder for Erie Lackawanna Railroad
and continued to work for Conrail until his retirement in 1996. He spent
time as a Union Steward. He was a lifetime member of Brotherhood of
Maintenance of Way Employes Division.
Eardon loved John Wayne and watching Westerns. He enjoyed going to
garage sales, playing the Lottery and going out to eat and visiting with
friends..

He loved his family and valued time with his siblings, children,
grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was
particularly fond of his daughter Debbie and her family who made sure to
spend time with him.
Eardon was a member of Delong Gospel Church and loved hearing Rick
sing. His favorite song was “ The Long Black Train”
Eardon was loved and admired by his large family.
