Katarzyna Chytry, age 96, of Knox, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
She was born November 24, 1923 in Poland. She was a long-time member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the St. Thomas Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Seaman (Charles Troyer) of Knox and Z. Steve Chytry (Ann) of Punta Gorda, Florida, a brother, Tadeusz Gandor of Poland, her grandchildren, Michael Seaman, Stephan Chytry (Melissa), Stephen Kampa and Tommy Kampa, and a great granddaughter, Cora Chytry. She was preceded in death by her husband Stefan Chytry, her parents, Jacob and Katarzyna Gandor, and brothers, Kasimirz and Aloysy Gandor.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11:00am (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
