Larry E. Fletcher Sr., age 69, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his home.
Larry was born July 2, 1951 in LaPorte, Indiana. His grandkids were the love of his life and he never missed any of their sports events, not even practices. He was an avid high school and college sports fan and especially loved Indiana University and Knox sports and it is said that he is known by every high school referee within a three state area.
He is survived by his mother, Maggie Fletcher Allen of Knox, his children, Larry Fletcher Jr. (Jennifer) of Grovertown and Sheila Fletcher Blair (Troy Stephens) of Picayune, MS, a sister, Carol Harrison of LaPorte, and brothers, Jerry Fletcher and Dan Fletcher both of Knox, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Fletcher, a brother, Terry Fletcher and a sister, Susie Barnes.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 7:00pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.
