Mary M. “Maggie” Allen, age 91, of Knox, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home. Maggie was born July 30, 1931 in Hueysville, Kentucky to Tom Stephens and Anna Watkins Stephens, both deceased. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dallas Fletcher in 1992 and her second husband, Walter Allen in 2012.
She is survived by her children, Carol Dianne Harrison of LaPorte, Jerry Fletcher of Knox and Dan Fletcher of Knox, and a brother, James “Eddie” Stephens of Munith, Michigan, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Terry Fletcher, a daughter, Sharon Sue Barnes, and siblings, Tom Stephens Jr., Oneeda Smith, Velton Stephens and Willie Stephens.
A funeral service will take place Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 1:30pm, with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Knox.
