Marsha Ann Flagg
Marsha Ann Flagg, age 70, of Ora, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Marsha was born August 7, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio to Edward and Barbara Moore, both deceased. She had received an Associates Degree in Accounting, but loved being a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. On April 14, 1972, she married Alex Flagg, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Carey Ann Flagg, and Johnathan William Flagg, both of Ora, brothers and sisters, Robert Moore of Monterey, Edward Moore of Winamac, Timothy Moore of Monterey, Cindy Tijerina of Portage, and Connie Henson of East Bernstadt, KY, grandchildren, Breann Milam, Alexis Grove and Bobbi-Alanna Flagg, and great grandchildren, Damien Walker, Murfi Linhart, Alic Burkett and Daisy Linhart. She’s preceded in death by her daughter Sabrina Lynn Milam and a brother Christopher Moore. Private graveside services will take place at the Alexander Heinemann Cemetery in Ora, Indiana. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Stuart L. Thompson
Stuart L. Thompson, age 80, of Knox, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023. He was born April 24, 1943 in LaPorte, Indiana to Abel Thompson and Rosemary Thompson Johnson, both deceased. Stuart had worked for over 50 years for Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 4. He was also a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam. He loved horses and dogs, and spent many years participating in horse pulling competitions and coon hunting behind his favorite dogs. He also loved watching any kind of sports. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Thompson, his son, Joshua Thompson (Rynn) of South Bend, his daughter, Elizabeth Thompson-Beauchamp (Shawn Yount) of Knox, brothers, David Thompson of Knox, Terry Thompson and Douglas Thompson, both of Plymouth, and grandchildren, Victor Beauchamp, Vivian Beauchamp, Brian Thompson, Tristan Yount, Landan Yount and Bailee Yount. He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Thompson. A visitation will take place Friday, November 24, 2023 from 2-7pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial with military graveside services will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery.
