Funeral services for Harold Gene Stotler, 84, of Winamac, formerly of Monterey, will be Tuesday, November 15 at 11 a.m. ET at the Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with visitation there Monday, November 14 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. The American Legion will conduct Military Graveside Services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Swinging Bridge project, Gideon’s International, or Monterey Fire Department.

Funeral services for William C. “Bill” Simoni, 81, of Griffin, GA, formerly of Winamac, will be Wednesday, November 9 at 2 p.m. ET at the Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with visitation there from noon until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Mary Simoni.

John C. Everage

John C. Everage, age 71, of Knox, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born on October 26, 1951, in Hazard, Kentucky to Louis B. Everage and Arizona Stacy. John is survived by his wife Brenda Everage, son Robert Daniel, and sister Joyce Churchill. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Arizona Everage and brother Louis Everage (Cathy survives). Services and interment are private. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

A private family memorial gathering is planned at a later date for Pherbia Stephens, 92, of the Henryville Community of Lawrence County, Tennessee, formerly of North Judson. Arrangements are being handled by the Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Glen Munz Gutwein, 94, of Francesville, will be Saturday, November 5 at 11 a.m. ET at the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville. Visitation is Friday, November 4 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET at the Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Apostolic Christian HarvestCall or to the American Heart Association.

A private burial will be held at the Alexander Heinemann Memorial Cemetery in Ora for 71-year-old Patricia Sue “Patti” Hopper, of Ft. Wayne, formerly of Merrillville. Plymouth – Jack L. Bell, 76, passed away in his home on October 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Thomas J. and Vera J. Bell (Grieger), born on May 13, 1946 at Holy Family Hospital in LaPorte.

Mary M. “Maggie” Allen, age 91, of Knox, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home. Maggie was born July 30, 1931 in Hueysville, Kentucky to Tom Stephens and Anna Watkins Stephens, both deceased. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dallas Fletcher in 1992 and her second husband, Walter Allen in 2012.
