Burial will take place Monday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. EDT at the Winamac Cemetery McKinley Addition. William E. Pietsch Sr.

PLYMOUTH – William E. Pietsch Sr. passed away on Sunday May 9, 2021 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth Hospital while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 10, 1935 in Mishawaka to the late Earl and Nellie (Lute) Pietsch and was 85 years-old at the time of his death.

Bill was a retired Tool Designer with South Bend Lathe and lived in the area most of his life.  On August 11, 1974 in New Carlisle, he married the love of his life, the late Sharon L. Hazen and together they spent 43 wonderful years together.  He was a member of the 700 Club and was devoted to serving and worshiping the Lord.  Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Bruce Hagen

Bruce Hagen, age 64, of Knox, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Bruce was born November 4, 1956 in Zion, Illinois. He loved sports and especially enjoyed coaching the teams his kids played on, golfing, camping and spending time with family. On April 26, 1980 he married Sandra Dee Smith, she preceded him in death on September 27, 2014.

Donald L. “Don” Markin

Donald L. “Don” Markin, 85, of Buffalo, IN passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Cincinnati, OH. He had been living in Cincinnati due to health concerns. On December 10, 1935, Don was born on the family farm in Buffalo to the late Orvel R. and Edna C. [Dart] Markin. He was a 1954 graduate of Pulaski High School and served in the US Army for three years. Don married Carolyn Jo Hoover on May 8, 1955 in Winamac, IN. She passed away on February 22, 2010.

Kevin D. Gayheart

Kevin D. Gayheart, age 40, of Winamac, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Kevin was born April 11, 1981 in Winamac, Indiana. He loved being a dad and spending time with his kids, he was also an avid outdoorsman who loved mushroom hunting and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Keith and Debra Gayheart of Winamac, his children, Kaden Gayheart of Winamac, Trissa Gale Gayheart of South Bend, Ryker Gayheart of Warsaw and Athena Gayheart of Warsaw, and his brother, Michael Keith Gayheart of Denham. Funeral services will take place at 12 noon (CT) Friday, May 7, 2021, with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at the Denham Cemetery.
