Tom L. Reed, 76, Warsaw, Indiana, and longtime Rochester, Indiana resident, passed away at 1:36 P.M. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Paddock Springs Health Campus, Warsaw, Indiana.

He was born on September 23, 1944 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Paul Winfield and Adeline (Bailey) Reed. He graduated from Knox High School, Knox, Indiana, before moving to the Rochester area to start farming.

KNOX – Howard R. Bashore of Knox passed away on Monday August 2, 2021 in Golden Living Center Knox following an illness. He was born on August 14, 1933 in South Bend to the late Jesse and Myrtle “Irene” (Pinkert) Bashore and was 87 years-old at the time of his death. He lived in Knox since 1962 coming from Lafayette. Michael Bruce Leman

On August 3, 2021, at 4:13 PM, Michael Bruce “Mike” Leman, 63, of Francesville, IN went home to be with the Lord after a hard fought battle with COVID.  He passed away surrounded by his kids at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN.  Mike was born on March 11, 1958 in Monticello, IN to the late Edward and Ruth [Musselman] Leman.  Mike graduated from West Central High School in 1976.  On December 27, 1980, Mike married the love of his life, Tina Hahn.  Tina feels very blessed to have spent 40 years with her soulmate. KNOX – Joan F. Fisher of Knox passed away on Wednesday August 4, 2021, in her home following an illness. She was born on August 10, 1947 ,in Indianapolis to the late Julius Larson and Irene McClung, and was 73 years-old at the time of her death. She lived in the area most of her life. On January 29, 1966, in North Judson, she married her beloved husband Melvin Fisher Sr. who preceded her death on August 30, 2013. Together she and Melvin owned and operated Fisher’s Asphalt and more recently Kankakee Valley Auction. She was a very hard-working lady that loved watching movies. On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, Kerry Duane Andrews, loving husband to Pat and father to three children, passed away at age 71.

Kerry was born on October 30, 1949 in Sturgis, MI to Victor and Ruth Andrews. He married Pat on January 18, 2003. He had a daughter, Kari Lynn (Rex) Scare, a son, Jamie (Barbara) Andrews, and a step-son, Dale Ledbetter.

Jarreth Troy Smith, age 28, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021.  He was born September 28,1992 in Merrillville, Indiana to Ronald Troy Smith and Jacqueline Sanchez Smith of Knox.  He is also survived by his siblings, Jayce Smith of Knox, Todd Smith of Knox, Jermey Smith of Indianapolis, Brandy Smith of Illinois, and Angel Smith of Rensselaer, Indiana, and six nephews.  A funeral service will take place Monday, July 26, 2021 at 6:00pm (CT), with visitation starting at 2:00pm (CT), at the M.
