Mary Mae Rusk Hoover
On Wednesday, July 21st 2021, Mary Hoover, loving Mother, Grandmother (also known as Grammy), sister, and friend passed away at the age of 73.
Mary was born October 23, 1947 in Rensselaer, Indiana to Harold and Lucile (Biggs) Rusk. She attended Business College after graduating from Rensselaer High School and retired from the Pulaski County Assessor’s office.
Mary did not know a stranger and enjoyed caring for others. Family was very important to her, she didn’t miss a family event or a Grandchild’s school function. She also loved crocheting , thrift shopping, and spending time with her friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Lucile Rusk, brothers Garold and David Rusk, sister Sharon Kennedy, and her husband Ralph. She is survived by her daughter Heather Payne, son in law Rick Payne, grandchildren Sydney and Jake Smidler, Kane Crownover and Sydnie Millichamp, Jacob Payne, Kayleigh Payne, great-granddaughters Koralen and Addalen Crownover, sisters Jade (Gil) Smith, Joan (Mack) Wireman, Anita (Brian) McMillan,and Rhonda Milner, sister-in-law Linda Rusk, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24th, 2pm eastern time at The First Christian Church in Francesville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Francesville First Christian Church.

Funeral services for Pamalea Josephine “Pam” Fitchett, 69, of Winamac, are Wednesday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. EDT at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham. Visitation is Tuesday, July 13 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Alcoholics Anonymous.

Arlene L. (Troyer) Ritchie

Funeral services for Charles A. “Charlie” Rose Sr., 92, of Winamac, are Monday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m. EDT at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with visitation there Sunday, July 11 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The American Legion will conduct Military Graveside Services. Memorials may be given to the St. James Salem United Church of Christ Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Pulaski County.

 

Robert D. Cleveland

Robert D. Cleveland, age 87, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. He was born July 2, 1933 in Knox, to Merl Obert and Edith Hilligoss Cleveland.

He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army, the Korean War ended while he was in basic training, so he was instead deployed to Austria. He was a long-time member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox. He loved driving, whether it be one of his old cars, on vacation or during his long career as a truck driver. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids who loved to call him “Bushy-Brows”.

Ruby D. Tolson, age 90, of Knox, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Wintersong Village Nursing Home. Ruby was born September 3, 1930 in Jackson, Kentucky to William L. King Sr. and Susie Taulbee King, both deceased. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Carl Neace and Jahu Tolson. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ruth Rowe of North Judson, Dessie Londergan of Dayton, Ohio, Viola Dunn of Lexington, Kentucky, Beatty Neace of North Judson, and Paul King of Jackson, Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary White and two brothers, Bill King Jr. and David King. A celebration of life will take place at a later date in the Kings Family Cemetery in Vancleve, Kentucky. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
